new paint job and new windshield...why are you upset lol. Wish that would've happened to my car because we ALL KNOW the Walton's have the money to pay for a measly paint job lol. Yeah I wash my own too. Make sure you go with OEM glass! Very important, don't go with the cheap china glass.

Yeah, in the 10 years that the carwash has been operating the guy told me nothing like this has happened. I usually go through the touchless car wash and then finish cleaning and polishing by hand. I use the touchless figuring it would not damage the car. I guess its not so touchless.

I see you have a miata. I have one of those also, not many cars that are more fun to drive are there?

I have a feeling none of the paint will match so the whole car will need painting

Ouch! Are you going to stick with green if you do a full repaint?

^^^ The Miata has Tokico Coilovers as well. $500 per corner. It's a cornering monster!
OK, back to subject....

When I first bought it I had misgivings about the green but now I really like it. If I paint the whole car I will use a paint that is a little darker for the pearl so it looks almost black at night

Hopefully not, but with all that damage, (hood, windshield, roof, rear bumper) Going with all OEM parts and full repaint they may total the car out. Start looking for a new one.

That's why you are never suppose to go threw those BS car washes. They always scratch your car not to mention what you went through.

Hand wash only!

AAaaaaghhhh. Very true and I didn't even think about this. To fix the hood/roof/rear with new paint job, this will be atleast $5k..that's on the bottom end. You should be able to get the windshield around $500 oem. This is a situation where age/mileage will actually hurt you. My last car was totaled out because the damage was worth more than the car...even thouht the car ran great and the damage could've been easily fixed. That's what brought me to my new baby.

If they do total your car out, DO NOT accept the first offer!
