I'm in the process of installing a complete interior kit in my 99 GS300. I bought the kit from leatherseats.com. It cost about $900 and included all seats, headrests, consoles and inserts for the door panels. The seats are done except for the driver's seat. I plan on doing it this week. My car has the sandstone interior and the kit matched it exactly. Out of the box, the kit looks to be very well made with leather on the consoles, seating areas, headrests and door inserts. Matching vinyl in other areas. I began with the rear seat first, then the rear back, pass seat and center console. Removing the seats from the car was fairly easy. Then the old covers need to be removed. This takes a little time as you have to snip all of the hog rings out, remove the cover and retaining rods. I took photos and video before tearing stuff apart just to be safe. Installing the covers was a reverse of the removal process. It helped to lay out the cover and associated hardware and come up with a game plan. A few times, I had to take a step or two back and re attack it. I would give the fit a solid 8.5 or 9. There were a few areas that didn't fit as nice as the OEM but overall, a very nice look. I had one piece on the rear center console that was backward and am waiting word from leatherseats on their solution. I'm expecting a new rear center console. The front seats are the hardest but patience is key and be very methodical. Be sure to disconnect the battery before messing with the front seats since the airbags are in the seat frame. I purchased hog rings and pliers with the kit. It's was my first attempt at a project like this. It probably took me a whole day to do all except the drivers seat. Totally transformed my interior. Planning on a paint job soon and looking forward to driving my GS for quite awhile longer.
