Default Need help with brakes ASAP!!!

So I'm about ready to order a master cylinder for my 2000 GS300... One friend that drove the car said its bad.... He is pretty knowledgable but a lot of other people I say that my master is bad they reply with. "oh so your brakes go to the floor?" but this is not the case.... My brake pedal is actually really stiff.... It takes awhile to stop and it feels like im pressing against a wall.... I really don't wanna spend the bucks if it's not the master but I'm not sure now.... Any suggestions on what this might be? Bad job bleeding brakes? Bad drum? Idk...

If your BMC or brake booster gone bad, you would have VSC and brake light came on already. Also, there is a buzz sound alone with it too. When my BMC gone bad, I had vsc and brake light came one with the buzz sound. In regard to your situation, it cold be a bad bleeding job, worn pads, or fluid leakage. you can bleed the front yourself, but the rear is tricky to bleed since it's an ABS system. To save your time even more, i just bring to a independent shop or dealer for a diagnostic the issue, then you can consider either feasible to fix it yourself or have it done professionally. Any light comes on or code being pull yet. Good luck.

Also there is no buzzing sound... And the petal doesn't go to the floor... It feels like someone is under the pedal pushing upwards so it's really hard to push down
