GS project where to start???
i have a 2001 GS 300....now my goal is to have a show car that is also fast i have a very nice sound system installed everything is rockford fosgate,,,,so my question is where do i begin with getting speed and performance my friends say go for the cold air intake other forums say lower it with coil overs or air bags i am just lost on where to start i do understand that the engine that is in my GS is the non turbo supra engine but i just don't want to slap a turbo on it and call it a day.....so where do i begin? right now i do need to upgrade or change my headlights so can i get some reccomendations on brands i would like the fog lights to be blue HID's and the head lights to have a smoked accent to them
these are the tailights i have installedhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005GSYNYA/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00

Bro... Ur not gonna get much speed if any from just a cold air intake o i'll say just follow what clos430 said. There is sooo much info here. I've always thought all show no go but u'll see that doesn't apply here. There are plenty of threads with builds that show and go

Agreed. There are a few other LED tails out there that look alot better than those.
Read up on doing a GTE swap if your not wanting to just put a turbo on.
Also, where are the pics of the new ride?

I ve started with suspension and wheels.
Who cares for taillights when you drool along on a set of buttugly OEM Wheels.
And its alot more fun to drive!!!
Wheels, suspension and TLC make or break a car. esp on a showcar. (so you might prefer airbags)

IMO, those tails you purchased are disgusting and please don't be rice/ghetto putting HID's in factory settings. That alone screams cheap and ricer honda car. Please search the site, you will see plenty of examples of tails, retro's, engine swaps, VIP, donk, diamond interior, rims, custom paint jobs, etc....enough to where you won't post for months based on your original post.

After that look into a decent set of wheels that'll be flush.. 9.5 in the front and 10 in the rear. The reason I say a 10 in the rear is so that you can use that adjustable suspension and have some room to run less camber without having to mess with stock body lines to much. In my opinion when you start messing with the body lines the car doesn't look right and half the time it's not worked on enough to make look right.
As far as power either NA-T or GTE swap. If you're trying to make high power like 600+ I've been told its better to go NA-T. If you want more lower end like 500 or lower then a GTE swap would be good.
