Just checked with my friend whos a Cop.. Not required in NYS, but he said if you get stopped in other states and they want to mess with you they will still wright you up..

i was getting fenders for the Daily...My daily has been hit more times than Kim Kardashian.

I was late for work..traffic was crazy all over the tri-state for some reason...Glad i got the hell out by 3pm..

i never got around to taking off the spoiler or getting a new one. they are so hard to find.

I doubt it, Hes been an officer for 4 years now, i think him and the chief would know their laws. Like i said NOT required in NYS.

Sakataj is right, It is illegal. If your vehicle is equipped with a third brake light (mandatory for vehicles made after 1986) if you get rear ended, you are def at fault..

So did you get the swap done OP ? I just did mine last week, it was pretty easy and I took the time to install my back up camera in the key hole. I did notice that the trunk pops up a'lot faster due too not having that heavy spoiler back there.

No warning light on for me, My car came equipped with a 3rd brake light in the rear deck and the trunk spoiler. So all I did was disconnect the spoiler connection with no problem

Nope, I have to use the remote or the switch inside. Since I've owned my car I have never used the key to open the trunk

which camera did you use and did it take any modifying to fit? it is wired up to a head unit?


i never use the key to open the trunk but i'm scared once i switch out the key hole all a sudden im going to need it hahaaha

anyway u can do a DIY on how to set it up?
