Default looking for 2jz-ge MOTOR

I blew my head in my 2000 gs300 looking to replace motor

ebay is gonna be your best bet, or car-part.com


when you say 'blew the head' what do you mean? You could probably fix it without replacing the entire motor...

one other thing does the 2jzge motor out of a 97 lexus bolt up???

yea but shop is saying damn near 3k to do the head so seems cheaper to just replace motor
I only had fluid in cylinder 3 and 4
so dont really think head will need to be shipped off and resurfaced but i know you should deff do it

to do WHAT to the head? You're not being very clear. Either that or the shop isn't being honest with you.

What fluid did you have in #3 and #4? fuel? oil? coolant?

A good used motor is going to run you ~$1000, then labor to pull and replace, not to mention the service you should do on the new motor (plugs, t-belt, serp belt, oil/filter, gaskets etc.) while it's out of the car.

The engine out of a 97 will not work. Your 2000 has VVTi, the 97 model did not.
