Anyway, while browsing through the pictures on this forum, I believe "CptCrunch" used to own this car before the last owner. "CptCrunch," if you see this post, I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me whatever history you know about the car. I plan to do some preventative maintenance on it, but if some work has already been performed I'd really like to know

Anyway, here she is...needs some cleaning up but it'll be a nice and comfy daily driver

Quick wash and interior shampoo'ed before I took her home last night...

After a quick detail at the local car wash ...

Here's the car I traded to get the Lexus...it looked nice but ran rough (I just couldn't bare to spend more and more money trying to resolve the issue)

That's funny, I traded a 97 e39 BMW 528i for my 99 GS300 also. My BMW looked almost exactly like that, just a different color. What a coincidence.

The same story here... had two E38's and really hard time with each of them...
First one ('96):

Second one ('00):

(yes, those are really two different cars )

BTW, your Lex looks very very clean Do you plan any further mods?

Yea, even with all the miles this Lexus has, it still runs way better than my bimmer did!

I usually don't either, but it was getting late when I picked up the car and I needed to get it somewhat cleaned before presenting it to the wife lol!

Nice bimmers! But Japanese cars are just way easier and cheaper to maintain!

Thanks bro! I'm really liking it right now. No more car washes moving forward for sure...especially since the car is black!

Get that tint fixed man, car may not look like it has 200k miles but that tint does, lol. Also don't use windex on tint ...

Thanks fellas! I just ordered a bunch of parts for it with the plan of making it reliable again. I don't really plan to mod it much, just want to bring it back to being a clean and reliable daily driver. If anything, I may get some coilovers and new wheels, but the current setup will work for now.
