Default Anyone used those kelford cams?

Looks like it would be a little over 5k for forged pistons connecting rods springs and a decent cam with some elbow grease to make a pretty fast and stable 1uzfe. I wanna do this too a gs400. Is there anything I should know befor I start jumping into things?

ive been thinkihng about doing this for the 430. i think its gonna cost too much for minimal power gains.

to get the most out of any cam requires some sort of tuning...would see minimal gains just by bolting it on.

this, and headers...what good is the extra fuel, air and exhaust flow if your headers are holding it back?

What are you looking for for 'fast and stable'? What kind of power level? Plenty of members have supercharged their GS400's and some even turbo without having to build the motor and get great power out of them...don't forget, they make 300bhp stock...it doesn't take much from that to get close to 400rwhp with a supercharger.

EDIT: Your title said cams, but then your first post lists a $5k forged rotating assembly. IMO, unless you really plan to sink $10-15k into a 12 year old car, don't bother.

Cause a performance cam is the first thing I would do if I were to buy another lexus witch I plan on doing. And my title was a question and my post included a bit more. I want to make sure the site I was on was legit cause I searched kelford on this site and didn't find anything.and headers is a must I just didn't list it cause headers was not listed on the site.

On a Previous post, I was either going to get a gs400 or a 300 srt8. and decided on getting the gs. I would rather build an engine on a car that I could get for under 5k, rather then a high mileage srt8 for just under 20k. I feel it is a better option and it would hang with the srt8's for half the price,

It seems the older Eclipse/Tallon/Laser 4G63 guys/gals swear buy them and there pushing decent power with most of the builds. As for on a Toyota motor probably check or post on the Supra forums would be my suggestion. I would see what they are happy with and what has proven to hold up and go with that.
