I've never understood painting a carbon hood...if anything leave the underside exposed, otherwise just get fiberglass...it's really not that much more weight savings

It looks like the K-Break is a little most in my grasp. Not even a 1/4 of that.

Can't understand why anyone would paint a cf hood!

I would paint a CF hood. But it would be tastefully done. Like around the vent or leave the center CF and sides painted.

I agree.. the K-Break looks better IMHO.
