Default great deal

i was looking for a 400 but they were overpriced all over new jersey and new york, unless u wanted a million miles. I got my blue 98 gs300 for $23,000 with 40,000 miles 8 months ago and i thought i had the steal of the century but u cut the cake. good find

I have found most salesmen to be clueless even when selling their own cars. I don't understand how you can work at a dealership as a salesmen and have a customer know more about the car then you do.

True! I guess I shouldn't of expected for them to know anything about a Lexus when they sell Honda's. HOWEVER, it's quite annoying when you have to deal even with a Lexus dealership and they don't know the answers to the questions.
I found that when I went to a Lexus dealer here in NJ, they weren't the sharpest tool in the shed, to say the least. I was very disappointed that they weren't educated in what they were selling.
I guess an educated or even a semi-educated consumer/shopper really can get a good deal, even if you're a chick

Hey Bluelex...
Hate to say it but 300's are a dime a dozen up here. I almost bought a 99 with just under 40k miles for 23. Thank GOD that my b-friend snapped me back into reality and said - NO WAY you must get the 400. I'm glad that I waited and was able to stumble upon a 400. It's near impossible to find a clean one for a decent price.

Funny because I see burgandy 3's all the time. Actually there's one for sale around the corner from where I live, however, I have NEVER seen a blue 3 or 4. I was particular as well. I only wanted silver than white. I got the silver.
It's funny because for close to 7 years I've wanted a 3 but when I had a chance to drive the 4, I saw the difference. Next time go for the 4, you'll see what I mean. Enjoy!!!
