Keep the GS. Why have two trucks? The GS is safe.. It's too loud for the baby?? heh. Keeping your GS means you still have a safe car for the baby, a better handling vehicle, less gas expense.. Wouldn't it also cost more to upgrade?

I don't think there's any real reason to trade the GS other than your Wife likes the other vehicle better...

 

I don't have any imperical data to show, perhaps some can be found online, but recently when I was comparing insurance rates on the GS vs other cars, one of the primary reasons the GS was less costly to insure than others much smaller cars, was that my insurer, USAA, told me that the Lexus GS is one of the most safe, crashworthy vehicles out there.

 

I have an 18 month old & I have a GS 4 & my wife the RX they work out great for us. The GS Trunk actually holds more on trips than the RX

 

Get a 03 4runner, much chapear don't have to worry about wear and tear as much... and pretty much the same car for your wife's taste. keep your gs430 and what does women in general know about cars anyways...

 

I would have to agree with you SC4. Some don't know much about cars. All the know are LV and Gucci...
