Question Help! Marlin Blue vs. Millenium Silver

What color to pick between Blue Marlin and Millenium Silver for a new GS300.?
These are the only 2 colors I like (not to offend anybody).
I keep cars for a long time so, trade in or resale value or more looked for input is appreciated.

IMO I'd pick silver.

- Looks clean when dirty, easier to keep clean
- "Sportier"

On resale or trade in, I doubt it will make much of a difference because both colors are nice, but I'd guess more people would like silver. Blue will be more rare, but it's not like it'll be a collector car by the time you sell it.

However I have a 2002 in silver and sometimes it doesn't look sliver. It looks a little biege like. The reason being is that the 98-99 siliver GS's were a bluer silver (alpine siliver). The 2000--2003 became that new millenium silver. Because what happened to me was I parked mine next to a preowned one at the dealers lot and I was like wow this silver is different and then the dealer explained that it was only on the 98-99 cars and that the paint was to heavy or something so they had problems with shipping it. So just beware, I mean sometimes I get mad when people think its not silver, but at nite it looks hot. I had black before it. Thats a nice car too. Just make sure you get black inside.

I have the Millenium Silver myself. I like it because it's a classic color. The dark Mica Blue needs to get it clean too often.

I like both colors, however I'd have to go with blue for the reflective properties and rareness. A good wax will give it a "show shine". I have vintage red pearl on my '99 ES which is very close to cinnabar on GSs- sharp when clean/waxed.

Default silver

I bought 2003 GS300 silver two month ago

I am happy....very easy to clean and it looks clean always...

but this silver as somebody said...it's not BMW or Mercedes silver...it's greenish silver.....little emerald color...
make distinct to others...which I like....since every other silvers are same....see Honda civic and E-class same silver..hehe.

I would get the blue, very rare on a GS. Almost every GS is silver.

My GS is Blue Onyx Pearl and I really like the color, very unique. But I prefer dark color cars anyway even though its hard to keep them clean.

Agreed with RNM GS3 - Blue is rarer than the Silver but it is harder to keep clean because dust and dirt show more on a darker color. But once it's shined, it's beautiful!!!

There are a lot of Silver GS on the market already, so the re-sale value may not be the same as the rarer Blue. I have not seen another Blue Onyx GS430 like ours at all but have seen plenty of Black and Silver GS300/430.

If I was strictly looking from the outside, blue would be my choice. However, I couldn't find a black interior w/blue exterior, which was much more important for me since I'll be looking at the interior 90% of the time, so I went with Silver.

I have the Millenium Silver

Go with the blue.

More rare. Silver is everywhere.

It really is not a true silver. Could look baige and gold from certain angles and lighting.

Go blue w/black interior.
