Okay, so it just started snowing here in Maryland and I'm on my way home. There's less than an inch on the ground.
I could barely get up a 40 degree incline! My traction control turned on and I almost got stuck. The only cool part is that I got to hear my traction control at work.
Anyway, how are we supposed to get around with snow on the ground? I guess I'm waiting until it melts........

yes there is too much rear wheel torque sometimes for the snow.

For you guys who haven't lived through a winter with a GS, I wanted to post a quick word of advice.
I recommend you do not switch your GS to manual shift mode and use the engine to slow it down in slick icy/snowy conditions. I found this out the hard way a couple of winters ago when I slid across three lanes of traffic (no damage, I was lucky). If you are in low traction conditions, something about the torque to the wheels on downshift causes the GS to break loose at times.

Get some good winter tires (or don't drive) and be safe!

Regarding dealers in the snow belt, do they have 16s on all GS430s during the snow season? We've had trouble finding any GS4's on 17s in my area!
Hearing all the problems from you guys, I don't mind taking 16s if it helps out in the snow? Would the dealer include snow tires at no extra cost?
BTW, GS430 GUY- I got Luda's lyrics from that song in my AIM profile, that song is money
