Default Photoshoot: 1999 Lexus GS300...not perfect but a good enough daily

Since I've talked about my brothers 1999 Lexus GS300, I thought I might post some pictures of it. It is my bro's daily and he has owned it for 2 years. Stranded him once when the gas gauge failed. Drove it till it was empty...you can see the imperfections...but it's a reliable, really nice Lexus.
How he got it: Our G-Ma thought it was a good time to get rid of her old Lexus and get a new one. (She had it since 2000). She wanted it to "stay in the family" since it had been so reliable and sturdy. She sold it to him for $2500. He wasn't going to refuse that offer...!A couple months afterwards, she purchased a 2007 RX400H. She loves that BTW. anyway, to the pictures. And my SC400 at the end, just for grins.

I've always been a fan of that Lexus Green only found on 2GS and 1IS. It's so emerald, not the typical forest green. This looks like a good platform for some nice mods, just needs some TLC.

The owner before had put 24' chrome wheels on it so he didn't care about the wheel gap.

Well, about the broken taillight, front bumper scratches, and dirt, the taillight broke due to idiot car shop. So my G-Ma didn't have to pay for the fuel pump replacement. The bumper scratches is what you get parking it in the bad part of town, and the dirt will get fixed soon! unfortunately, the paint is starting to fade on the GS, car cover doesn't do anything...

If it was mine, maybe, but since it's my brothers, he probably won't. Would make a great mod car I think though...maybe custom taillights since one is broken...

the flash amplifies the scratches on the paint and the dark areas on the interior lol.

Time for a good cleaning + Detail the paint. should look dope.
