Default wheel fitment question

Hopefully someone knows. i have a 99 gs4 and looking to get new rims. Found some 20's and the tires are 245/40 r20 I called a local rim shop and they said they would fit but a buddy of mine that had a 2g gs3 said they might ruba nd id have to roll my fenders. So Im hoping someone on here knows and can let me know if they will fit and no driving problems/rubbing. Also im stock height, not lowered thanks

Who cares about the offset. That tire size is retarded. You will rub guaranteed no matter what the offset. You should have. 245/30R20. And never buy used rims without knowing the offset

offset is 15

245 40 20 is overall diameter is 27.72 inches.

will they rub all the time or just while turning/reverse and is that a issue for both front and rear rubbing or just front.

The rear will rub when driving straight. The fronts rub when turning in reverser or forward. Trust be bro keep looking, 27.7 is WAY too big. That's damn near SUV size. That would be the perfect size and offset for my RX300 LOL. Tire OD for our cars should be between 25.2-26.2.

Ya that sidewall is too big bro, if you want the wheels just get some new tires mounted in a better size

Wow when you say it should be 25.2-26..2, yeah id say that a little too big then too Lol

Only reason I was considering them was the price, 200 for them with the tires.

being a 20x8.5 rim would a 255/35/20 tire fit the rim and then ultimatley fit the car better?
