Default Has anyone heard this noise when stopping before??

Hi, i bought a 2000 GS300 about a month ago and ever since i got it it will make this noise when stopping. I will try to describe it as best as i can: When you are stopping (hard or very gently) usually right when you completely stop or are almost completely stopped you will hear a kind of zzzzzzzzzzztttt then click! its not very loud and sounds like its coming from the drivers side. and there is no change in the break feel, i have heard it while stoped and while rolling, It soulds like a little pump or servo.

my guesses so far are the ABS pump, or possibly the headlight adjustment motors, i was wondering if anyone else has experianced this and what they found? any help is appreciated.

thanks everyone

Sounds like maybe the brake actuator, try to record the noise. Any warning lights on ?

Cool, that's good to hear, Maxx430 i read your thread and it sounds exactly like what i am experiancing and it seems its nothing to worry about. Thanks everyone for the help.

and does it matter if it happens several times throughout the day, it does not happen constantly but the little sound then the click when it stops will happen several times a day.
