I have a 2000 GS300, I was sitting at a stop sign and it just started idling rough. accelerated fine to 50 MPH and then let off and it was chugging like it wanted to die. Then it ran ok for about 5 miles. I got home threw it in park and it started idling rough again. When i rev it up its good, just rough as hell when its idling in drive or park. Im getting VSC/VSC OFF Light on plus engine light on. I have 1/4 tank of gas and am leaning towards a weak fuel pp. Possibly working harder cause i only have 1/4 tank of gas and not the head pressure from a full tank?? Any thoughts? I was seeing some posts about the TPS issues that some are having but it seems like thats a different symptom like going into limp mode, Thats not happening with mine. Also i dont know what codes im throwin I live in a small town with no shop to my knowledge that can pull codes. Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

First off welcome to CL!

Pulling the code isn't hard at all! Just get a code reader (OBDll I think, correct me if i'm wrong) and connect the reader to one of the diagnostic ports. If it happened all of the sudden, it would be a part that has failed, not dirty TB, MAF, IACV and so on. Run a container of fuel system cleaner through it and see if that changes. Though, I would not start replacing part's and spending money just yet...see what the code says first. GL.

Thanks for the quick reply! I completely spaced that my father inlaw has an obdII reader. Im gonna go grab it in the AM and see what i can figure out thanks again
