Dash lights
As we all know, the dash lights in the GS are light sensitive. In the dark, the speedometer, tachometer, and fuel and temperature guages get dim. In the light, they get brighter.
IS THERE ANY WAY TO OVERRIDE THIS?
I would like to have them bright all of the time. Sometimes, my guages seem to get so dim that I have to refocus my eyes to see them.
I have taken the car to the dealer to see if one of the lights is out or something. They tell me that the lights are functioning as normal.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I want mine brighter too..... Maybe there's away to hook up a small wedgebulb in front of the sensor so then the car thinks it's always bright outside..... Just a thought....

This setting is part of the C-best setting and can be programmed only by the dealer. Next time you go tell them you would like the dash light to remain bright all the time and to adjust the c-best settings.

I do not believe that this is a C-BEST setting. If it works for a 1999 GS300, please let me know.
Thanks.
