How is the "in-car" sound? Does it "drone" at all? I thought about doing the same, since I added a stock K&N filter, but then I "swiss cheesed" the airbox. Intake sound is very noticeable now, but want the exhaust to match.

I think he means he drilled holes in the airbox which is absolutely pointless imo.

honestly it not really noticeable, i don't hear/feel any "drone" ... maybe just a little, between 1500rpm and 2200 , it doesn't bother me at all

Not to hijack anyone's thread here, my apologies LexXuS101...........But I cannot understand how getting more air into the intake is pointless??????

At least Lexus 101 was smart enough to realize the stock intake is getting air from in front of the radiator (cold air) and left that part of the stock intake (although a shield between the air filter and engine would add even less heat) For the life of me I don't understand why people put a kn intake and get rid of the stock cold air intake and suck the hot air from under the hood. Kudos for lexus101 into putting at least some thought into his set up

Not as much HP as the electric supercharger. Put your stones away ****-whatever. The holes that were added are only the front area behind the headlight. I tried to somewhat keep from drawing direct engine heat. I mentioned what I have done to my car, not implying any gains with the exception of intake noise.

I dig it. Especially in my tax bracket As long as you are not Losing any Horsepower... why Not have a better meaner sounding V8? Deleting the Muffs is on my list to do. I dont have emissions where i live so cutting up exhaust pipes is nothing new to me.
