Well, i havent had a ticket in 12 years ( knock on woodgrain ). I was with American Family for 9 years auto withdraw and never a late or missed payment or a claim and when my truck was ravished to death in my driveway with a police report they didn't have my back. I even had a plan that covered an extra $4000 of customization on it. Heartbreaking and they didn't care at all when i said i am leaving them and paying for it myself the chik at the call center hung up on me. haha, switched to progressive, which is probably no better but what can you do? Insurance is about as bad as healthcare in the US. I should probably switch to just liability.

Talk to any agent and they'll give you a list of cars to choose from that have the cheapest rates due to cheaper and more available parts. honda parts come a dime a dozen.

Its sad that people still dont do research before buying a new car. First thing to do be for buying is checking how much insurance is,.
Hey, relax man. I did research it. In fact, the original car that was going to replace my Honda was a 2003 Lexus IS300. I got it quoted with my existing company (all online) and saved the quote. Same coverage and it was $25 cheaper per month.

The insurance was lower. So simple logic says that a 98 GS400 worth $4K less would be cheaper. Wrong.

Common sense does not apply. Insurance BS prevails.

All depends on what company you go with, car insurance is nowhere near the crap healthcare is. What it is, is that noone wants to pay for GOOD car insurance. Go with the top companies i.e State Farm, Farmers, AAA etc... And NO questions asked, they cover you. Its the smaller companies that will try to suck you as dry as you can. I remember having State Farm (parents still do) they get checks cut no problem for house or auto when anything had happened. Its a lot of $$ but damn its worth it! A fellow member on here has a policy with Farmers and part of it is they will cover vandalism 100% with no report and whatnot once a year. Try getting that from a cheaper company

health insurance, they just bend you over and not pay anything LoL

^I've got progressive, and I just did a quote with 21st century, and the price difference was CRAZY. My family plan with progressive is about 870 every 6 months (3 cars), and 21st quoted me around 1600 for the same plan same amount of cars.......crazy.....I hope this isn't just a higher rate foreshadowing X(.

Yeah I think each area of country is different or something because I could not find a cheaper one than 21st. I got a quote from nationwide once and they wanted 5k a year for my 4 cars.
