2001+ Steering wheel and airbag in 98 to 00?

As you may be aware, the '98-00 GS has a single stage airbag. The '01-05 GS has a dual stage airbag. You can either purchase a single stage airbag from an RX300, or you can swap the explosive units:

It is a direct swap, although don't expect the audio controls on the left side of the wheel to work.

my aristo doesnt have audio controls on the wheel just teh e-shift buttons and looks like i have to use a 02 camery SE airbag to retain the Toyota logo

Hi, I've found this thread as one of the fresh ones, so I will post here my question. I've found a nice wood wheel from RX300'02. Now I'm looking for an airbag... So will ES300'02 airbag will fit on this steering wheel? I know that it is dual stage, I'll swap the explosive unit from my old airbag.
