600k? Is your odometer malfunctioning? It's not every day you see a car, much less, a Ford with 600k. Kudos to you if that is correct!

No that is what is so awesome about this car..it looks better than the new ones that are coming out, but as for driving something unreliable in certain areas because of age might be a concern.

I have this conversation with myself at least once a week.

If you like it, keep it. The milage has nothing to do with the safety as long as the car is maintained. I have had two cars as daily drivers with 270k+ and they drove great, i would drive 80+ mph on the highway nearly everyday in them. actually now that i think about it i don't think i have ever had a car with under about 140k and they all have been great, but that is because they were maintained well (by the PO as well as myself).

I agree that 106k is nothing for a lexus and if you really like it just repaint it and keep it for a long time, i'm sure it will last.

And as far as the lighting glitch, you shoule start a thread about the problem, or what the dealer said it needed and i am sure someone on this forum can point you in the direction of a cheaper fix, or possibly how to do it yourself.

whatever you decide good luck and enjoy the lexus
