Hello CL. I have an 01' GS430. I've been rebuilding it lately from a minor crash. I was looking to replace my HID bulbs. But without paying that major OEM price. Even thru SewellParts with my CL account, each bulb still runs for about $159 each. I can understand quality and pricing. But still, there has to be a more affordable brand out there.

Does anyone know of any cheaper but quality brand I can use for this replacement? I've searched eBay and I found multiple brands. Nokya,Sylvania, Bosch, and cheaper bulbs not really known for they're name brand. But very affordable. I need some advice. Anyone that's done this before, can you point out any brands you've used and your experience with them overall.

This would help me make my decision much more confidently.

P.S. Anybody know a DIY for the bulb replacement with PICS? If so, please post.

These are the same as the OEM bulbs. I bought a pair back in 2011.
