gs 300 with a diesel engine?
Hi,
Has anyone here done, or heard of anyone fitting a gs300 with a Diesel Engine?
I am wondering would a is220d engine fitthe GS? Or even some Toyota D4D 2.0 diesel engine ect?
I know the Toyota is FWD, so there would be a lot of hassle making water re-location kits, so a RWD engine would be best option....

IF this has been done it was most likely outside North America. Hopefully some international members can chime in.
I personally think the 2GS/Aristo would probably be pretty low on peoples choice of vehicles for a IS2#0D swap due to its size.

do you know if there is anywhere online that i could find the measurements of the engine bay, mounts, ect from both cars of will i need to do it myself to 2 cars?
and does anyone know if the gs300 gearbox will fit the is220d engine?
