Interior anti rattle kit
I have seen several mentions of an anti rattle kit that you can get from Lexus yet I have not seen it at the Sewell website. How do I get ahold of one of these? Also can people post what they have found that rattles in the interior (other than the sun roof there are enough posts about that) and their most effective fix? I have several rattles that come and go (mainly they come when cold go when warm) and I thought it would be good to have a thread on documenting location cause and fix. This is for interior rattles only and ones other than sun roof.

Don't waste your money. I have 4 of the kits only because I got it for free. I have some friends that work there, and they often have leftovers that they don't use when fixing a cars squeaks and rattles. It's a huge bag per kit, and they only use a few small pieces usually. They have tons of it stocked up in their drawers and they just unload spare parts at my place when their tool boxes get full lol.
But anyways, I tell you not to waste your money to buy the kit from Toyota. It is just adhesive backed foam. Unless you get it for free, you will be better off buying some of that stuff from a hardware store.

^ nice. i can only hear mine while driving. very subtle, but if you force yourself to listen even once, you will Always hear it Sounds like minor noises on 1.edge of glovebox lid, 2.console or cup holder area and 3. of course moonroof. however, unless the car is moving or in drive, i cant lean over to listen or pin point them. time to hit the hardware store

My center console rattles, my rear left door rattles, my glove box did rattle but I fixed that by putting foam on it. I have a few other rattles I have not figured out. Actually the left rear dorr area rattles but I have not figured out what exactly is causing the rattle.

My glove box used to rattle. What I did was pull the glove box out and take apart the compartment itself. I then placed felt all along the inside liner of the front cover (about two sheets worth). Then I placed friction tape on the two metal tabs that sit on the top of the glove compartment box. Wherever I heard a creak required felt. I did this about a year and a half ago and no rattles since then.
Now the sunroof? That's a whole different animal and I can't seem to get to the bottom of stopping it from rattling.

Mine has a small rattle coming from either the back of the steering wheel or likely the steering column shroud. If you press your finger in the gap for a second, it goes away for a while.
