I think its the spokes that extend to the very edge of the rim that make it look bigger.

What size tire is on there? Maybe its the angle of the pic. Got any side shots? Theres almost no gap between the front and back tire. Or has the car been in an accident tweaking the space? Heres my big *** 22's and they have almost the same gap as you
