Default New to the forum, have a headlight question.

I've had my 00 gs4 for about 6 months and love it but I'm stumped on one thing, my headlights are nasty on the inside and are getting condensation in them, I've done the wet sanding stuff but the inside is the problem. I'm wanting to get new ones but really don't want to cough up 1k for new ones as they are factory hid, I don't mind some of the eBay sets but they are all non hid, my question is how big of a deal is it to switch to those and just add an aftermarket hid system to those? I've heard talk of the auto leveling system but not really sure if this is something I'll miss or not, any help is appreciated, thanks.

These are $674 from the dealership. Not sure if that is still out of your price range or not but just a suggestion.

If the ebay lights are an option i dont think ur picky. Why dont you just open your headlights and clean them properly and give it a good seal? The only thing u'll have to pay for is sealant.

EVERY 2001+ GS came with them, my black 2001 GS has them.....most 1998-2000 people change to them if they can. ebay ones are junk but all of a sudden you seem to be leaning that way, i guess its about the $ for you?

at $600 its not about the money, I just really dont think I'll like a green tint on them, I suppose its better than what I have now but the ones on ebay im looking at are the OEM non-hid ones, not the cheap goofy blackouts or whatever else is on there.

Pulling them apart may make the best sense, I might try it and see how that works.

Here's mine fresh from Sewell. It's very slightly green, but too noticeable.
