What to look out for in a 99 GS300.

Look out for a creacking sunroof,check heat direct toward the feet, fading stereo numbers, and clicking sounds coming from the middle vent during acceleration, and the usual vibration at 60 gone at 80mph. This can be encounterd I speak from my own experience.

Depending on when the '99 was built, it may require an updated ECU. I believe there was a TSB on this issue. My '99 GS was built in Dec. of '98 and required the new ECU. I also had problems with the creaking sunroof, various dash rattles, and a nasty glovebox rattle. But these issues were all repaired under warranty. Good luck in your search.

The car was registered december of 99, I do not know the production date as of now.
