Looks like from reading the treads . I have a case of the "1998 GS/300 GOES LIMP" condition. OK be NICE! and no jokes..... [:>} All the indication are as dis-scripted. So I am going to start with the Accelerator pedal position sensor first P/N2206046010. It should take me about two weeks to complete and ensure this is the problem. Once I complete this task I will report back in on my results.

Well let me first say to all the others that took the time to post about there similar experience with P1120 code thank you for taking the time to share your input. Its because of you that I didn't spend lots of time with the TPS replacement. I did replace the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor and my problem was solved. Again the only error code I ever received was P1120. My mechanic did spend time cleaning out the Throttler Body first but the APPS was the final fix... Good Luck and I hope others find this information useful..
