Default mounted ps2

figured out to mount ps2, you use the old mounting bracket from the cd chnager, and i hot glued it on the ps2, you have the bend the mounting bracket on the left of the changer so the ps2 will fit and then the whole unit will fit like a charm in there with the old cd changer mounting brackets

Great Idea! So you are not going to have a changer anymore?

the only problem is that you have to take out the ps2 controllers everytime you want to close the glove box, you leave the controllers in the glove box, that is the only drawback, but i believe this is the best place for the ps2, the back armrest would be the same way and the driver wouldnt' be able to access it, so the glove box is the best hidden place, thanks

I think if you have a dash kit for your Kenwood, it shouldn't be too hard to install it. You should ask this in the Electronics forum, they should be able to provide more help.

Will the PS2 skip when you hit heavy bumps? I only see people using them while parked, but I want my kid to use it on long trips.

Do you play DVD's or just games? Don't know if games are less affected to skipping, than playing DVD's.

no, i haven't had any problems with it skipping, i play games and dvd's, it works awesome, i am actually surprised that it hasnt' skipped yet due to the amount of bumps that i have hit, it iwll work awesome if you mount it, it's just hard cutting away at the stock plastic in the glove box, thanks

Default hi

I have done the same mod, except, mine was mounted with brackets with foam so that it does not skip, I'll have some pictures soon

You could close the glove box and still have th PS2 controllers conected just sing it to the side and it be ok, because I also have my PS2 connected in my glove, and move my cd changer to the back. If you mounted your PS2 back more you can close it with the remote still connected.
