People need to get their own thread

The reason people are posting pictures of steering wheels with E-shift is thats because thats what I asked for!

Thanks for the links everyone, I'm going to go browse and find which site/seller has the closest match to the USDM blackwood and go ahead and order!

if you can wait till i get mine back from the interior shop i can tell you how close a match it was to the USDM blackwood (im sending them my center piece with it) if so you can probably find a wood e-shift for cheaper/easier than a blackwood one and then have it dipped like im doing and Nar8ta did

Hmm, how much cheaper would it be? Are they making you pay shipping both ways?

Option 1 : get jdm one (pretty expensive)
Option 2 : get wood one w/ e-shift, send out my center piece + steering wheel and have them dip

This is mine. I lost my e-shift but I don't mind because I never use it anyway

Finding an exact match to the USDM black wood will be almost impossible. Most of the JDM black wood either have a blue, brown or green tint to them once the are hit with direct light.

Puff, I just emailed directautostyle and was told the same thing.

These are going around 395-475 (NEW)

Heres the response from the email.

There is one that uses real wood and its a little cheaper but we've been told the wood is a little darker than the door panels/center console. The other brand is an exact match but it is a burl PRINT just like how the door panels and center console are.
Anyone know the difference between the burl print and wood?

The silk blaze wheel is a nice piece. If I ever feel the need for e-shift that's the wheel I'm getting.

Anyone know how I can verify whether or not a steering wheel is made by silk blaze? Maybe a stamp or something designating the brand? There's one locally I can buy for about 12,000Y($132) and it's black wood of course so it will match my interior
Just need a damn Lexus airbag since everything else on my car is lexus badged from the previous owner.

Yea it sucks the neither GS or Aristo that came with blackwood came with a wood steering wheel. However, there is a black wood steering wheel that you can from Lexus. The SC430 Pebble Beach edition had a optional black wood interior. But this is straight grain instead of a burl wood but not sure if the color is a match or not.
