Default Headlight sensativity adjustment?

Community - my auto headlights are now not coming on until it gets real dark? Is there a way to adjust this sensativity so they come on earlier. (1999 gs4)

the sensor is on the backside of the rearview mirror.

If they are not coming on until it is too dark for you, that means you are lucky enough that the sensor is too sensitive.
It is easier to reduce the light to the sensor. you can put a piece of tape or film that's tinted over the sensor that reduces the light and makes it effectively darker (can just magic marker the tape to absorb some light).
