Which mufflers are best for sound and performance?

Which mufflers are best for sound and performance?
I have been told Borla and Magnaflow are good for these two characteristics. I know it's a completely subjective question, but I'm trying to educate myself and eliminate certain brands so I can move towards an answer. Any help is appreciated.

Mufflers alone arent going ti give you any real power gains. That is more for sound than anything. Also sound is relative. Performance wise youd have to go from the exhaust manifold back to see any real gains.

Also note, that any exhaust mods are supposed to have very limited impact on performance as long as you go with N/A setup. Going with some boost is when it really starts to matter.
