Haha. I was thinking of dojng the same thing to mine. I can't even see what station i have on anymore. *shrugs*
You should. Stereos are cheap now. I picked this JVC up from Crutchfield for $130 and that included the mounting bracket/face plate and wiring harness. It upgraded me to Blutooth for hands-free calling and playing Pandora/Spotify right off the phone. If you're willing to spend closer to $200 you can get one with a nice touch screen display.
The only thing I wasn't super crazy about is the fact that I had to cut 3 wires of the factory harness. I left about 1.5" of wire in case I ever needed to use it again. However, with our cars getting as old as they are and the fact that a good aftermarket is so cheap I doubt very seriously if someone would ever go back to the stock stereo so it's really not an issue.
Bought a used set of G35 Rays 19'' w/tires for the lexus.. Got them dirt cheap but need new tires.. 19x8.5 all around.. decided to get another set since i've been on the Vossens for years lol. Some plans to paint and spacers in the future..
Replaced a missing driver's seat adjustment **** with an OEM piece of plastic. $40 and people wonder why we call them "Stealerships." Then fixed a broken rubber hose where the gas tank vent return line goes under the engine cover. Hopefully, this will cure the CEL. Repaired rather than replaced as result of the previous experience with the seat control ****.
BTW, as a noob on this forum, I have to laugh at the "Driver School Candidate" designation - since I've been a road race school driving instructor for the past 30 years

Had someone dent my rear quarter and ran away last week, so I filled it with body filler and got the paint from local auto store, but it turned out there are 3 different colors under one code 4P2: light, standard and grey, I picked the standard one but later found out it should be light one, so had to get another bottle of spray paint.
Also how do you remove the masking tape lines?
I got a set of Infiniti G37 17's wheels dirt cheap (I need stock spares to roll around), just mounted some tires this past weekend - Wheel shop lightly scratched my wheels. They had a Wheel repair guy come and refinished my wheels to almost new condition. Pics to follow..
