Why does CL's search engine suck so bad? I literally searched in this forum for "what did you do" and nothing comes up. I do not know why that **** pisses me off so much.

Anyway, changed the lights in the seat heater switches to red LEDs, even though I never use them.

This was much easier than I thought. I just used a loose 5mm red led. I slid it down the tube and through the 1st set of holes. Then I bent the - wire throught the second one. I put the resistor inline THEN ran the + wire through the second one. The rubber got a little beat up, but I was able to shove it back into place and they lit up.

Also, I seem to remember someone else saying that you can just grab a small pair of needlenose and pull the lights out without taking the switch covers off. That is what I did. I think I used a pick tool to pop them off the contact points.

yeah i realized that after i did it (actually someone pointed it out to me in that thread and we discussed it) but you dont even need needlenose pliers, you can just push them out the bottom

Not today, yet Tuesday was the alternator, and Thursday were the plugs. For such a large car, things sure are stuffed in there...!

GS400? Alternator is a piece of cake. It is efficiently put in place though.

Default Junkyard Find - Project Lexus

Today I went to the junkyard for a front bumper. Hit the jackpot, and someone had already pulled it off to get the headlights. Going to go back later to see if the passenger side fender is still good.

Wish me luck. Project Lexus is almost 100%. Need to find a black window control switch for the driver side door. Does anybody know what other cars it was used in Toyota/Lexus?

This is what I used:
https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...-car/228/1067/
I get most of my LED stuff from there.

As far as disassembly, it was fairly simple. There is a DIY on this site that I used.

You are not hardcore until you swap out your hazard switch and passenger seat belt warming light bulbs to LEDs. Lol.
Neo wedge and 74, respectively.

Popped the glove compartment light back in. I forgot that was chilling in the drawer.

I am going to tackle the sunroof vibration, now. That is, as soon as I check out the thread again.
