That's the problem I have. Oh yeah, I'll be doing this mod over the weekend at the latest. Maybe I can get a few hours to myself for Fathers day so I can do this and install my sway bar links.

Spent about 3 hours using my 3M headlight kit (rubbing compound and buffer) to buff off every little piece of road grime and tar that never comes off in the car wash. Also got in my color rite pens in the mail and touched up the rock dings on the front, the pearl is custom so the pen isn’t exact but you can’t tell unless you get really close and it looks like new compared to little dark chips. It will hold me over till I get the car resprayed. I wanna add that the color rite 2 pen kit is pretty awesome but I don’t see it working a second time due to how thick the base coat and color coat were, I feel like when I go to use it again it will just be a hard dry paint tip that won’t pump.

Completed oil change with Valvoline Maxlife and new filter. Dropped 2qts from trans and refilled with Maxlife ATF...definitely runs smoother and while the trans fluid wasn't burnt or too discolored it was on the high end of mileage as it wad dark red. Shifts smoother and lighter.

I had checked the surround on the Pioneer sub and it looked good, impedance checked out on Multi-meter as well. I installed an old school Lanzar Opti Plus 50 amp I had in storage. Its 125RMSx1@2ohms. A little overhead, but it sounds great and it will hold me over until I decide what direction I want to go in.

Oh and took my Yukon to the gas station since I have only driven it twice since I got the GS3 and it was nearly empty. Definitely enjoying my better MPG on the GS.
How has the factory sub held up under that power? Have you noticed a major variance in sound output vs your door speakers?

Gave it a wash and put some of that infamous Turtle Wax Seal N Shine on it...Digging the results, not bad for a 20 year old.

Killed some time seeing how some parts would polish up.

Also started stripping / emptying out this sexy beast. In the end it will leave to the junk yard just a shell. Good majority will go into my ride and the rest will be sold / parted.

Default Car won’t start

Can anyone explain or know of anyone having the same problems as me, my car hesitated when I pressed the gas, stalled, I stopped it would start for a few seconds and then turn off again, then it won’t even start anymore. There’s no clicking or Ticing the battery, alternator, and starter are all good.

Finally got my Maya RT5 wheels refinished. Original chrome was bubbling and corroded in most places. Lips are polished and faces are powder coated a gloss white

Ordered the OEM sun-glass holder which came from a GS in Australia:

What did you do to your GS today?-kas8jwj.jpg

Had to paint it matte black to match the rest of the black wrapped upper interior:

Now the final touch with a pair of Maui Jims

Nice. It’s the little things that make all the difference. Where/how’d you find it?

I agree, I like the small details. To be honest it took about a year searching every week for this item but you need to search the Australian specific eBay or even the different ones like the Japan or Europe Ebay's also. The one I found the seller did not want to ship to the US but he did eventually once I contacted him. Our US eBay link that we commonly use might have one for sale but I never seen one for sale.

I would almost think this holder piece could be 3d printed with a added gear/spring mechanism.
