What did you do to your GS today?

I didn't actually do anything today, or even this week, but here's my 2021 status update before it goes into storage:
This year's work consisted of Fortune Auto 500 dampers with 14k/12k Swift springs, SuperNow spherical joint steering rod ends, Daizen steering rack bushings, Cusco lower arm brace, FIGS Engineering caster arm bushings, FIGS 17mm RCAs, new LBJs and sway bar end links, and a new radiator because I was really pushing my luck with the original one. Got an alignment, and overall pretty satisfied with this. Will be removing or trimming the front fender liners next year because at this height, with these wheels, it does touch pretty often.

Thanks! So far so good with them. Coming from Tanabe DF210 springs on KYB GR-2 struts, I thought the 14/12 combination would be a lot less comfortable, but it's quite nice. The DF210 were near-stock, so it's not that plush anymore, but it's still supple enough to be a nice daily. It doesn't have the stereotypical "car on coilovers" feel that you might expect.

I’ve been wanting to try the Fortune Auto coilovers out. Did you get the Swift spring upgrade?

Thermostat changed! Old one's gasket was hanging on by a thread, glad it did not come loose and attack the water pump. That would have been FUBAR. Put OEM coolant in and OEM thermostat new from lexus dealership and now the car's temp gauge is stable at a tick above medium position. Car warms up well and does not vibrate at idle, was getting like 5 less mpg cuz this for a month, now the car is running **** again and purrs like the kitten it is. =D

02 GS300 Time!
I bought my 3rd Lexus, an 02 GS300 with almost 229,000 miles on it. Well, technically I bought it on Saturday. It's Premium Package car with Midnight Pine Pearl paint and an Ivory interior.
Today, I bought one CR1616 battery to verify the functionality of both remotes. Now to order a replacement case for the broken one.
I also tracked the parts I have on order for it to get it drivable again: radiator (the reason I can't drive it), valve cover gaskets, cam and crank seals, vvt cam gear seal, all 4 quick struts, timing belt, tensioner assembly, hydraulic tensioner, hood release cable, and throttle body gasket. I'm thinking about flipping it so I've gone rather inexpensive on most of it but I plan to drive it some until it sells, if I sell it.
