What did you do to your GS today?

Decided to give that 2k clear I'd been reading about a try.
After laying down some base coat, the two part clear went on really nice; not like that cheapo clear coat from Advanced Auto etc. For the $50 investment in materials, I'm pretty pleased.
Learned alot (mostly that prep and polishing is labor INTENSIVE - lol)
Really, for $50 and the satisfaction of doing it yourself, it's way less expensive than having a paint shop do it. If you want perfection maybe, but if not bad is good enough, give it a try.
Next up... da bumbers.

So my headlights started to get hazy and decided I should wrap them.
Got a nice thick lightly blue tinted vinyl applied and took a vid of the process:
I think it turned out well, the blue gives it a luxury kind of look.

Depends on how much they charge.
But if it's more that you're comfortable with, I'd go give it a try.
The biggest investment would be in a buffer polisher, but you can pick one up from Harbour Freight on the cheap.

Yeah the a thick film is pretty hard, you have to wet apply it to make sure it forms nicely.
I got the wrap from a local guy here in Toronto, here is his site if you want to check it out, he ships across North America, just double check with him.
