when you check ur alternator, is it reading 14 Volts or under? Typically, it should be read over 12V because the alternator has to 'recharge' the battery.
^battery connection is also a common problem

Yes, terminal connection is commonly overlooked. And yes, alternator needs to read 13.5-14 when car is on. It is also possible that something is drawing power constantly when car is both on and off. Like a cig lighter/charger. You wouldnt think something that draws so little power would cause your car to not start. But it happens. Also check the ground from chassis to battery. I drive a tow truck, and those things are so simple but most common. Seen it happen on so many vehicles, BUT NEVER a gs.... this is all assuming its a battery problem. Hope you get it fixed. GL
