I wanted to see different feed backs on different oil everyone uses in the 2gs

always been a fan of mobil 1 but i use shell gas. does anyone use shell oil???

Valvoline max life with a valvoline filter or whatever the dealer uses and a Toyota filter. Really depends on if I want to wait at the dealership or not to get it done

Rotella is good stuff. My neighbor works on Rigs for huge companies and told me a lot about Rotella especially in diesel engines and says it THE best.

But, i am probably going to go with Mobil 1 / Toyota Filter on mine ( by the way, i get 3 oem toyota filters for $13 on eBay)

The "what oil do you use" question is one that has been around since the beginning of time. I highly suggest reviewing the old threads.

I will rock the boat and say I don't particularly like mobil1. It results in more oil consumption in my particular 2GS as compared to other oils. A few others also have that behavior. If you do like it and it works for you, that's perfectly fine.

But if you do see oil consumption with mobil1, try another oil first before freaking out and breaking out the tools looking for a non-existent problem.
