Default 265 40 17's on GS4?

Was on TireRack site and they list 235/45/17 front and 265/40/17 rear as an alternate 17" tire size.

Has anyone run it? I did some searching and didn't find anything on it. I want to be sure it fits, I like the idea of larger in back, but would love to run 265 40 17's all around if I could.....

Yes it will fit. I have 275/40 on my rear tires for a "staggered" look.. Search under my name...I even posted a few pics.

And considering 245 45 17's all around too.

Looks like 265 40 17's are harder to find, and very limited in brands.

^^Yes it is. I actually bought it from a member here like that. I have Falkens all around. It's a great tire and they are not super expensive too. I'm running 235/45 in the front. The ONLY downside is that I hear it scrub a tab bit on certain steep turns. Once tires are down to wear bar, I will go with 235/45 on all four tires. I would rather rotate tires so that I can extend life...but I do like how the "stance" is from the back. Were you able to see my pics?

No, haven't been able to find the picts yet. The search on here is lousy. Ideas what thread you had it in?

Is this it: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...h-wheel-2.html

Google search, 1000000% better than Vbulltin search....

If you are running stock wheels that size will be bulging out over the rim and look like truck tires. I'd pass on that size. Those are much wider than stock of course and you'll find it to will grab more of the road in a bad way i:e pulling to the left or right on uneven roads. Also it will feel rougher since more of the car is planted to the road even though the side wall should be about the same as stock.

I"m sorry, but I have to respectfully disgree with this whole statement. I've had my set-up like this for over a year and my car doesn't ride rough or randomly pulling to the left or right as you stated. It drives drives as smooth as a freshly waxed p**** I do agree that it does have the buldge over the rims (don't agree with the truck tires statement (my pics for example in the link above)...which is kind of a pain when applying tire shine to the tires because my applicator pad always get reside on my chrome wheels.

In short, I like the look, but I wouldn't purchase the size again due to what I stated earlier.
