Default Finally started to mod the GS a little

I've been lurking for several years, but never really had anything to contribute until now. I've been a big car guy for years and was pretty into the VW scene. I've finally decided to focus some attention on the GS. I picked up a 2nd hand set of Weds yesterday and test fitted them. I'm going to re lip them, but im not sure what offset im going to go with just yet. I don't intend to modify my fenders or quarter to fit the wheels so I want the wheels to fit the stock body, but I want them to fit well and be nicely done. Anyway, I just wanted to do a quick intro. I've got to run and put the stockers back on before the rain hits. I'm sure to be asking a lot of questions about offsets and things like that since i'm really a total newb at wheel specs (i've always been a HP guy), but there are a ton of awesome cars here and this seems like a really good group of people so i'm pretty happy to here!

-Jon

***Yes, the car will be lowered. I can't ride this like for very long! lol

Some past rides:
04 R32

04 S2000

02 WRX and 03 Evo (wrecked the WRX shortly after and replaced it with the R32)

06 ZX6R (stolen twice)

2011 GTi (current)
.

There are some misc cars not pictured, but these are just the pics i've got on FB. I've found myself growing out of the tuner phase and i really enjoy something a little more grown up these days.

Great to have you on here Jon. Everyone Jon is a friend of mine and he has some great plans for this car. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Of course I am rocking the Vishunu's as well so its going to be fun to have his GS to take pics with and ride around town. I told him he NEEDED to be a part of the CL community because of the wealth of information and knowledge on this forum. Plus all the hottest Lexus cars are CL owned.

Thanks for the kind words, Mark. You've been instrumental in me expanding my knowledge when it comes to the Lexus scene. My car won't be on the level of yours at all, but I'll do my best to make sure I look half decent when we do that join photo shoot!

Always been a fan of lipped wheels. The chrome adds a bonus. Good choice.

You have certainly chosen the best family. Welcome to CL.
