The Best Christmas Gift Ever. Good Story.
After Three Months of Getting Rides From Everyone And Their Mother, I Finally Am Back In The Lexus Family.
On September 12th, I got into a life-altering car accident. Doing stupid things at stupid times and totally wrecked my 1993 Lexus SC 400 with 63K miles. After a week or two of thinking and looking back, I finally got a chance to meet with the insurance adjusters. Upon which they gave me a check for 18K while allowing me to keep and sell the car. I was astonished but happy nonetheless. I then began my search for a car and after two weeks knew it had to be a GS. Unfortunately I shortly ended my search and let my father take over since I was getting nothing but aggravated. (I'm 18, btw)
So days and weeks went by and I thought nothing of it since my parents were graciously giving me rides as needed with the help of some life long friends who were always there for me. Fast forward to christmas.
Upon waking up on christmas, I opened a few gifts and went to the basement. I decided to Chill with my brother and play a few video games when my mom came down and gave me a small box from JC Penney's. I opened and I almost flipped. A Set of Lexus Car Keys! I ran upstairs and outside... no car. I turned around and her and my father were laughing. It was their best friends car keys. I was saddened greatly and proceeded to go back downstairs angry and sad. No more then five minutes later, they again call me upstairs. I tell them to leave me alone and knock it off. They call again and tell me my friend chris is at the door. I finally decide to go upstairs and sitting outside is now a 1998 Black on Black Lexus GS 300! My dad went to go get it at my uncle's about 10 minutes away as soon as I went back downstairs. Gave both my parents a huge hug and took the car for a drive. What a wonderful machine! Not as powerful as the V8 but just as nice and I am eternally grateful. Without a doubt, definetly the best christmas gift ever. Taking some pics tomorrow and will post them ASAP. It's great to be back!

Captain Bone - that is a great story, and I'm glad you realize that you made a mistake with the SC.
Your parents sound like great people - you're lucky. See if you can do something nice and a surprise for them too some time. Maybe save up and book them a meal at their favorite restaurant or something.
