Nah still got the issue even replaced the tps and calibrated it using all data instructions.
Then tested the resistance on each TB component everything is within spec. Still no code or check eng light.
Noticed if I brake real hard at times or even just cruising on the freeway the gas pedal goes dead for a few seconds.
Think the APP is going but not sure why the check light hasn't gone off as yet.

Appreciate any suggestions

Didn't think I saw anything about the o2 sensors. Lexus anything eats them like candy, they probably need replacing anyways. Both bank 1 and bank 2.

Would it be bad, Even without an engine light.

o2 sensors could cause a lot of things. From bucking/surging to very slight idle changes...if you haven't replaced them yet, I'd be inclined to do so.

Bosch universals is what I use. You can go OEM and they will last longer, but they are much more expensive.

Place the Long screw driver on the head, with out turning it, give the end of the screwdriver a couple of good wacks with a Hammer. it loosens the threads..then Lefty loosie.. Do this first to avoid Stripping the screw head.

I haven't had RPM idle issues... but if this helps.. I noticed better idle after these 2 things I did... when I changed out my battery, I noticed the car idle slightly higher. And recently after replacing both cats, all gaskets, and o2s, way better idle and better gas mileage as well.

P.S. If you change your o2s, Denso has served me well so far. Relatively cheap off eBay, Amazon, Rock Auto.. just be careful for defective o2s as I received 1 defective.. keep ALL RECEIPTS!! Also, if you change out your o2s, get OEM pre and post gaskets off www.sewellparts.com..... use your CL account to get discounts!!! Seal any air leaks that way, which will lead to better idle, and new o2s will give slightly better fuel consumption. Good luck bro! Let us know what did the trick! Stay POSITIVELY optimistic!!

Hi guys im new on this forum but im having the same issue really low idle. Took the car couple times to toyota. They say is normal. I dont think so. Anyways today i was driving on highway and my engine. Vsc and vsc off came on. No response on my gas pedal. Anyways this happen on the past and for what i have readed here was the valve control motor. Replaced and cured the problem, and then couple months later a code. Was system too lean bank 1. I did several things to find out what it was. Didn't fix it. A friend told me to replace all the 02 sensors. Wich i only replace the bank 1 upstream and fix the lean condition. Im wondering if i have to replace the rest of 02 sensors to fix the low idle. Car has 202k. Help!!!!
