How you guys doing tonite? Glad to be part of this forum. I'm about to buy my first gs but I'm stuck between a white 2000 gs 300 platinum edition grey interiot with 95,000 miles in great condition for $5800 and a silver 2001 gs 300 with black interior 115,000 miles for $5000 but it needs shocks all around and a motor mount. Otherwise it's good condition too. Which should I choose? Which would you choose? Thanx for taking the time to answer my questions?

without knowing the condition without pics I would pick the 2000 has 20,000 less miles and the 2001 you know already needs shocks. does one have more features then the other?

You should choose the one you like most. They're both going to need about the same amount of work, although the 01 will need a timing belt/pump job SOONER if it hasn't already been done.

I'd get the 01. Love the black interior in these cars. White and silver both look great, but the black interior seals the deal for me.

yeah, drive them both and you will then know which one is meant to be and of course figure in the $ maintenance as said above
