New Member 2002 Sport Design
Hi everyone, been lurking for some time. I thought I had joined, but it's been awhile since I participated in an auto forum, so it might have been another account, forum.
Anyway, I'm Jorge, but you can call me Jay or JJ.
I currently live in Lake Mary, about 30mins from Orlando. I moved here from NY with the wife and kids in Mar 2012 and love it ...major things being the weather, smooth roads and garage where the Lex now rests lol
Now that we got all that out the way, onto the goods:
2002 Millenium Sport Design. I bought my grail in 2005, with only 19k on the ticker. Before that, I had a 97 ES, which was my first experience with Lexus. Drove it til 98k, when a chance to get the GS came along.
Today, the GS has about 61K (I know, I KNOW and shes my daily driver lol), and running beatifully. Only changes have been cosmetic: HKS lowering springs, 19" TSW (staggered), HID conversion, yellow PIA fogs, and a l blue'd led interior. Back in 2011, we had a major windstorm and the roof suffered. I was contemplating the black roof, but my buddy was starting his own 3m tint and protective covering shop, and suggested I get the roof and mirrors wrapped in Di-Noc carbon fiber...and am SO glad I did!
So now, besides some other custom work, the go-faster bug has had me doing a lot of research, which led me to CL. I'm all over the map, from just CAI and exhaust, to a full Supra TT swap. I've even thought of getting a roller and making it the project, but since my ideas keep changing, am going to sit tight.
