Ok, I have black metallic rims, and wanted to know the advantages and disadvantages of powdercoating vs. painting. The guy who is repainting my car, can strip and repaint them, but does not do powdercoating.

Which should I do, the painting would save me a small fortune so that is what I want to do but want to make sure it is a good idea.

powdercoating is much more durable.

 

Grrrrrrr, that is what I figured.

 

Powder coating doesn't cost at arm and a leg...it's less than chrome plating...

 

Rumor has it manaray that your gonna chrome plate your whole car....
