There was enough space on the top of the box to mount his amp, and it won't be seen from the front of the box.
I'll post pictures of the final install today once it's all wired up.

Point is, I wouldn't recommend you buy prefab box because they: often are made of inferior particle board, are not dimensioned correctly for your car or application, carpet matching is hit or miss, etc. Build one, you'll appreciate the work so much more.
