IS300 / Altezza Poly Bushings for GS?
I need the advice of experts - and I am NOT ONE, LOL.
My 1999 GS400 has the same bushing issues everyone else's does.....and I have had no luck positively ID'ing the correct poly bushing for the REAR Lower Control Arm. The one that connects the arm to the chassis. (NOT the knuckle bushing - I have searched!)
I have noticed that a lot of the Rear LCA from aftermarket - seem to fit both the GS and the IS300. So.....Would it be safe to assume that a poly bushing from the IS300 would work on my GS400?
I have ordered the adjustable IS300 bushing from FIGS - this one:
http://shopfigs.com/v1/LEXUS%20bushi...product_id=107
Can anyone confirm this is the one I need? Thanks so much in advance!

Think I have good news for 2Gen GS Owners!
Brian - thanks for looking - it's appreciated.
I think I might have an answer to my own question......
I cross referenced the TRD Japan site for both the Aristo and the Altezza.
The Rear Lower Control Arm Bush #2 - is the same part # for BOTH cars.
It's "48725-SE130" - for both.
http://www.trdparts.jp/english/parts_bush-aristo.html
&
http://www.trdparts.jp/english/parts_bush-altezza.html
So - And I hope Mike @ FIGS can confirm - but my logic is that if the same TRD bushing works in both cars- then FIGS Altezza Bushing - should work in my 1999 GS400.
Gents? Do I sound correct?

I believe Figs makes these bushings for our cars or is considering making these, though I'm not certain. I replaced the knuckle bushings and though 90% of the sound went away, there is a slight clang over bad road imperfections. The only place I have seen these available is on RHD Japan's website.

Thanks for looking
Thanks for looking and responding to me - I definitely have the right Knuckle bushing on order - that one Mike @ FIGS has been very knowledgable about.
However, this inner bush - no one seems to know anything about it.
Seems like people have just been replacing the arm with OEM or aftermarket like FIGS MEGA or Megan.
Any ideas, folks?
If the part #s from TRD match - then by default, wouldn't a bushing made for one work on the other?

^ you know what? I think there are some sellers on ebay who sells poly ones for that location. A lot of members here thought it was for the knuckle when it was actually for the other side of the arm.

If you have aftermarket rear lower control arms - it's the end of the arm that has the chrome pillow ball bearing built into it..........where the arm attaches to the chassis in the rear.
The TRD part number for the JDM bushing not sold in America for our cars and for the altezza/IS200/IS300 - match exactly. (48725-SE130)
Mike @ FIGS says that if they match - it's 99% likelyhood that his polyurethane eccentric bushing would work since I do not want to invest in new arms - I just have the goal of durability and slightly tighter handling for the long haul. MY GOAL is to drive this car for 350,000 miles or more!
I love this car for my daily, and I love getting the best bang for the buck vs having the "newest and best.". So I will replace these bushings vs spend money on parts I don't need for the way I drive this car.
I will keep everyone posted. I just ordered all these from Mike, and my mechanic will be putting them in before a 6hr road trip on monday 6/3. Excited to have the rear of my ride feel stable again.
