Default Looking for sunglass holder part number that fits in place of home link cover

Hey everybody, I'm looking for the part number from the Toyota Camry that for the part that holds the sunglasses in the overhead console where the homelink unit cover is. I already found the follow thread on this topic.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=40907

In that thread, CL member 0260n5.7 from Guam had a sunglass holder in his 1998 GS400 so if somebody knows the part number that would great. This same thread also indicated that the sunglass holder part from a Toyota Camry XLE would fit but they didn't indicate the model year. If somebody knows that part number, it would be great.

I've already contacted Steve Ganz from Carson Toyota and he thinks he found the part but he's not 100% sure. I just sent him an email asking him if it's from from a Camry XLE so I'm waiting to hear back.

If you're wondering why I want this part, I want it to do a custom install of a Valentine 1 radar detector and I was considering using the space where the homelink is located to put the Valentine 1 concealed display unit and I was going to use the sunglass holder as a kind of door to hold the concealed display unit and to hide it when the car is parked. I know people have installed the concealed display unit in the ashtray but I'd rather glance at it near the review mirror than look down at the ashtray while I'm driving. I'm also going to install the Valentine 1 remote audio adapter and I'm not sure if I'm going to put it in the ashtray or in the place of the change holder on the left side of the dash.

Default well

what i did was removed the cup holder divider. pull it it just sides out. i think it well fit sunglasses? if you need cup holders the ones from the back seat are right there. maybe that helps? theres alot of electronic stuff going on up in the homelink unit. i would leave it alone. good luck!
